That was a great lesson! I requested a news article related to 고령화. 쥬쥬 선생님 sent the article to me after confirming my lesson request. It was an article filled with graphs and statistics so I feel like reading it was very helpful to prepare for 토픽 쓰기 53번. There were also difficult words in the article so I was able to expand my vocabulary. I had to explain the graphs out loud to 쥬쥬 선생님 today and despite using my brain at full power to explain them, my explanations were lacking and I messed it all up, but it's motivating me to study harder ^^ I look forward to the next class!

Today we did a variety of exercises, including a review of the words and expressions I had learned in the previous class. I appreciate that we always do a review in 쥬쥬 선생님's classes because it ensures that I fully understand what I learned and it helps make these new words and expressions stick in my long-term memory. We also studied the grammar ㄹ/을 리가 없다. It's a grammar pattern I often hear in dramas so I'm glad I know how to form sentences with it now ^^

Another great lesson with 쥬쥬 선생님! We finished a chapter of the textbook 쥬쥬 선생님 created herself, so for today's class we did something different, which was 연기수업. It was my first time doing it and it was very fun! I not only learned new vocabulary and grammar but also got to practice Korean pronunciation and tone! Moreover, we started with free-talking and 1분 말하기 so I was able to practice tons of output. 쥬쥬 선생님 also provided corrections for my homework. I appreciate that I get to practice writing in Korean too with 쥬쥬 선생님's classes. Otherwise, I would've been too lazy to pick up a pen :P I look forward to our next lesson!!

I had only taken 25-minute classes with 쥬쥬 선생님 but taking a 50-minute class today was super fun! I enjoyed the opportunity for a longer free-talk at the beginning of class. I told 쥬쥬 선생님 about Pumpkin Spice Latte today and how it’s associated with the start of fall here in Canada for people who love Starbucks ^^ I also did 듣기 practice and got to practice using ~더라고요 more. We also did 상황극 where 쥬쥬 선생님 was the 사장님 and 손님, and I was a person interviewing for a job at “쥬쥬 떡볶이 집”. When she first introduced the topic, I honestly panicked inside :P But 쥬쥬 선생님 led the conversation, asked questions and did it in such a way that I was still able to speak as much as I could even though I had never spoken Korean in such a situation before (job interview and taking orders from a customer). It was very fun and I look forward to our next class!

Today was another great class with 쥬쥬 선생님! I appreciate the balanced input and output she always managed to teach in a 25-minute class. Among the things we did, I particularly loved that we did 55연습 again today. The topic was spontaneous and the flow resembled a real conversation. I got to listen, share my thoughts and then ask questions. It expanded my vocabulary and I enjoyed the practice of having to improvise on the spot.

Today we did 55연습 for the first time. It was fun and I deeply enjoyed it! I practiced responding and asking questions just like how a natural conversation would go. I can imagine that practicing this often would be incredibly beneficial for my Korean conversational skills. I also got to learn a grammar point (~어/아 가지고) and made sample sentences to deepen my understanding. Furthermore, I practiced describing an image and I got feedback on my homework. As always, I learned a lot in 25 minutes!!

Today I practiced reading out loud and received helpful corrections on my pronunciation and intonation. I also summarized the dialogue I read and described 2 pictures that 쥬쥬 선생님 had prepared. I got to learn more vocabulary and grammar as well through the sentences I used to summarize the dialogue and describe the pictures. I also received correction on my writing homework. As always, I learned a lot in 25 minutes and it flew by!

It was another great lesson with 쥬쥬 선생님. For today's 1-minute speech, I was asked to explain the plotline of 작은아씨들, the drama I'm currently watching. It was challenging for me to find the right words to say what I wanted to say but thankfully 쥬쥬 선생님 was patient, encouraging and kind throughout it all! Then, I practiced explaining and summarizing the content of the dialogue script we went over last week. I also got to practice describing an image to 쥬쥬 선생님. She offered corrections for the homework I did as well and I'm happy to know I did better than I thought ^^ I learned a lot in 25 minutes. I'm looking forward to next week's class!

It was another great lesson with 쥬쥬 선생님! With the material that 쥬쥬 선생님 prepared, I got to practice describing an image, reading a conversation script out loud and asking questions about the image and the dialogue. I also got to practice describing where something was located based on the information provided in the dialogue. Then we talked about songs I listen to often to practice more conversational output. I enjoy the balance between input and output. I learned a ton even though it was only 25 minutes! I’d love to take more classes :)

It was my first lesson with 쥬쥬 선생님. I had only taken free-talking lessons so far in my Korean-learning journey, so I found it fascinating that I could improve my vocabulary this much in a single 25-minute class. 쥬쥬 선생님 also deepened my understanding of the newly-taught words by creating sample sentences. I love how 쥬쥬 선생님 made sure we did both input and output, so I had the opportunity to practice speaking in Korean too. I felt like the lesson was very well-taught. I will take this class again soon and I’m already looking forward to it!

I took the first lesson in order to prepare for the TOPIK test. We practised listening and vocabulary and it was very helpful.

First time having a TOPIK 쓰기 lesson with 쥬쥬 선생님! I truly appreciated that 쥬쥬 선생님 complimented my writing skills ^^ Because it took me an hour and a half to write my answer, reducing my writing time became the focus of the lesson as during the actual test I'll only have 50 minutes for the entire 쓰기 section. 쥬쥬 선생님 taught me ways to brainstorm ideas and organize my writing. I will certainly use her suggestions for the next class!
