Kaoru-san gave me helpful, clear, and color-coded feedback on a draft of a speech about a serious and complicated theme. Her corrections were easy to understand and helped improve both the speech itself and my Japanese, since she also provided helpful explanations. Thank you for the lesson! Kaoru sensei was amazing! She prepared a evaluation test for me to check what I needed work on for the upcoming JLPT test. Each question I got wrong or didn't understand, Kaoru sensei was able to explain the meaning or the grammar point in a way that was easy to understand and easy to remember. Even if I got the question right, I appreciated that she made sure I actually knew the vocabulary word or grammar that was being asked about in the question since it confirms if I actually understood the question or not. Lastly, I liked that she prepares a summary of that was taught after the end of the lesson!

It's my first time having a lesson with Kaoru sensei and it was a comfortable and good lesson. I like it when she typed all my sentences and explained the corrections. She also gave me interesting information about Japan and asked me several questions to have a smooth conversation. 先生、今日はありがとうございました。

I really love Kaoru’s lessons, I always feel like I can learn at my pace, without any pressure. Moreover, the materials are always varied and interesting so I feel engaged and motivated. As an animal lover, I especially appreciate our “JLPT animal kanji series”! :D

Kaoru's lesson is clearly structured and you can tell she does a great job at finding materials adequate to your level. I especially love that she explains everything in Japanese and she corrects me when I talk so that I can see right away my mistakes and correct them. A very enthusiastic and professional tutor I warmly recommend.

It was wonderful talking to Kaoru Sensei today! She had plenty of questions for me to answer and we really had a fun time :)
I am still working on my Keigo, but with her I know that I can improve a lot. Also, thank you for teaching me this phrase: 気のないそぶりをする :))
