Thank you for introducing me to so many Scottish dishes that I didn't know existed! It was a lot of fun to learn about them and I really enjoyed the lesson. 先生の教える熱意が伝わってきて、素晴らしいレッスンでした！
恥ずかしながらサフラジェットについては歴史の授業で少し触れたくらいで、あまり詳しくは知らなかったのですが、先生のおかげでサフラジェットたちが実際にどんな活動をしていたのか、どのような経緯で英国の女性たちが参政権が得られたのか、どんな人々だったのかなどを詳しく学ぶことができました。レッスン後に送ってくれたPDFも内容が非常に充実していて、セルフスタディーもできて有り難かったです。
また、私のような人間に45分間は少し長いかなと心配でしたが、サフラジェットについての小話を交えながら楽しくレッスンしてくれたのであっという間でした！

Prior to this lesson, I’d only briefly learned about the Suffragettes (mainly during my high school history classes), but thanks to teacher Emily, I was able to learn in depth about who the Suffragettes were, the various actions they took for women’s suffrage, and how women in Britain finally got the right to vote. The PDF that the teacher sent after our lesson was also very informative, and allowed me to learn more about this topic.
I was slightly worried that 45 minutes might be a bit long for someone like myself, but the lesson went by in a flash as teacher Emily made it an entertaining and informative lesson with interesting stories about the Suffragettes!

It was such an enjoyable English literature lesson I ever had. As we read through the story, the tutor explained me the cultural background of the story and any English vocabularies I never come across before.

Emily is a great storyteller and was able to showcase the life of Siegfried and Wilfred so that even with no previous knowledge of them I could imagine what their life must have been like. I really enjoyed listening to her and the lesson time flew by super quick! In the end she also read some of their poetry, that was very interesting as well! I feel motivated to look up their lives and work a little more from now on! Thank you for the lesson Emily!
