It had been years since I studied Japanese and have been reluctant to dive back in, but Niko-sensei is great! She is patient, able to adapt to your level, and supports you with helpful vocabulary and expressions so you can be an active participant in the lesson. I highly recommend her for learning Japanese (no matter your level) and am looking forward to continuing to work with her.

I really appreciate that she is a good listener and keeps the conversation going effortlessly. We were able to get into some academic subjects, and that was good for me because I tend to run into vocabulary issues at that level. I'm looking forward to the next lesson with her!

I took a lesson with Nikorin in order to practice my psychology-related vocabulary in Japanese. As it so happened, she had also studied psychology, and was able to provide me with many subject-appropriate words. I appreciated that she asked me lots of questions and helped the conversation move along at a comfortable pace. She was quite friendly and easy to talk to. I am hoping to take another lesson with her as soon as I can!

My lesson with Nikorin went very well!
She was easy to talk to and did a great job answering my questions.
I would recommend her as someone who is respectful with your time, great at listening, and is able to appropriately adjust speaking pace and difficulty to match your level of Japanese.
I hope to take more lessons with Nikorin in the future!
