Kita-sensei was nice and friendly. She explained really well why foreigners have difficulty pronouncing some Japanese words and what are the possible remedies from phonetical perspectives. It was a very valuable experience. I knew that my Japanese pronounciation was not quite right but could not identify exactly why. She clarified for me since either my tongue was not put in the right place or my resonance was produced from places different from native Japanese. Therefore, just like most people whose first language is Chinese, my Japanese might sound not as soft as Japanese. It was an interesting discovery and enjoyable learning experience for me. For those who wish to speak Japanese like native speakers, I highly recommend her lesson and training.

I really enjoyed my lesson and there was so much to learn! :) Yukina sensei was extremely patience with me as I was having problems with "かぞえきれない". I also really liked how I could have a choice to speak the lyrics instead of singing as I'm very nervous and not very confident at the moment. It was a fun and very interesting lesson and I'm looking forward to having a lesson again - would recommend!

I was surprised how much information there was! I have studied Japanese for a long time and I found there's some bad habits I didn't realise I do! I very rarely had anyone let me know about how I pronounces things so this was fantastic. Good teacher, very knowledgeable, her English was really good and I hope to have a lesson again.

First of all, this lesson's good for beginners who want to build up singing skills from the bottom up. From the start, she teaches how to release body because it's the very most important point. And then she teaches how to stand up to make vocal sounds. We practice the song 'TONARINO TOTORO' which is easy for beginner like me. We could only sing 3-4 sentences in lyrics, however I felt like I learned a lot to sing in tune. Overall, it's a refreshing , exciting yet, very helpful lesson.

I took Yukina-teacher's lesson, because I'm struggle with telephone support in a company and I have had an inferiority complex for singing. She taught me a good posture and a method of vocalizing etc. attentively. I had a lot of fun, because her lesson was practical. She correctly read my mind after I sang. I smiled wryly her reading. I was surprised a professional singer can read my mind only my voice. She taught me how to make a beautiful voice giving examples a lot. I enjoyed her examples and I learned plenty of things. She taught me a song named Oboro-zukiyo. She is good at praising people, I could sing a song easily. Actually, I'm basically shy. She asked me questions again and again, even time-out. She is really positive and affectionate, I highly recommend her lesson from children to seniors. I'm very lucky to have Yukina-teacher for my first voice teacher. Thank you so much for your lesson, Yukina!

For those who'd like to speak Japanese and sound naturally like a native speaker, Kita-sensei's professional analysis from phonetical perspectives is very instrumental. I often know that there are something not quite right with my pronounciation and intonation; however, I couldn't identify exactly why and where my problems are. Through Kita-sensei's analytical explanation and illustration, I realize that I need to soften and lower my tone in order to sound like a Japanese native speaker. I also realize that resonance of Japanese language might be produced in different areas from my mother tongue. I need to avoid over stressing and speak more softly and flatly. This is a very valuable learning experience for me. I'd highly recommend this seminar for those who are serious about improving their pronounciation and intonation.
