Ayumi-sensei has such a bright and bubbly personality. It was so easy to open up and talk to her. She seems to have a lot of experience teaching because she can quickly correct my Japanese, or write down natural phrases in the chat box. I like that she asked me what kind of lesson style I preferred, and what my language goals are. She teaches a very student-focused lesson.

I had a wonderful class with Ayumi-sensei. She was enthusiastic and easy to talk to, and prepared several interesting topics for the class. She graciously corrected my Japanese and also asked me what level of correction I would like, and whether I would prefer to be corrected in the moment or afterwards through feedback. She also asked how much of the class I would like to be in Japanese/if I would like hints or explanations in English at times. It was great that she clarified all of this before the start of class, and I really appreciated how structured the class was. It was fun to have fun and also feel a sense of progress and improvement. Her feedback was very detailed and included the new vocabulary and phrases from the class, as well as helpful pronunciation information. It was a great class and I look forward to more classes with Ayumi-sensei in the future. Ayumi先生、今日の授業、大変ありがとうございました！

It was my first lesson with Ayumi Sensei and I absolutely loved it!
She answered all of my grammar questions and helped me with some sentences.
I really appreciate that she spoke Japanese the majority of the time but she switched to English when I struggled to understand something or when I needed more clarification. She struck a good balance between languages.
I'm looking forward to the next lesson.

Ms. Ayumi asks for the discussion topic before class. In lesson, she performs speaking practice with grammar that are in our levels and explains difficult words in detail. She also praises and encourage us with detail feedback and corrects our pronunciation. After class, she explains the lesson content and any method for improvement clearly.
