Today I had my second session with Hanako Sensi and it felt much more comfortable to express myself in our lesson. She provided me with a list of topic questions I could prepare for before we started. This helped me a great deal to prepare my thoughts and formulate ideas for sentences I could use in our conversations. This was just what I need. はなこせんせい、ありがとうございました。

I had my first session with Hanako Sensei, and I was very happy to speak to her. She is very warm and welcoming. I felt it was easy to speak to her and she explained things briefly in english if I felt lost or didn't understand and then quickly resumed back to speaking in Japanese. I look forward to speaking to her frequently.

Our conversation was fun and good for practice. Difficult words were typed as we go along, and repeats my incomplete answers in grammatically correct syntax. And Sensei can interpret in English-Japanese so I could ask how to say something in Nihongo. Good practice!

Unfortunately I was too sick to take this lesson, but Hanako Sensei was very understanding. Look forward to next session.
