It was lovely to chat with Ayumi-sensei as always. I asked her about some specificities of some vocabulary in a business situations few lessons ago, and she went out of her way to ask around and let me know the opinions of other Japanese people after the lesson. She took her own free time to investigate what I asked, so I was really touched and thankful. She also suggested some great ways to learn more advanced vocabulary, which I'm sure will come in handy in future lessons. Thank you so much!
以前のレッスンで質問したことをわざわざ空いている時間に調べてくださいましたので、とてもびっくりして感動しました。先生がとても懇切で、以前のレッスンで言ったことも詳しくまで覚えていました。私の日本語が下手ですが、先生のレッスンを受ければもっと上手になると思います^^

It was wonderful to chat with Ayumi-sensei again today! I had some specific questions regarding the uses of certain words, and she was so great at helping me to understand them, down to the nuance. It was only 15 minutes long, but it felt like I learnt so much. I'm looking forward to taking her classes again soon!

It was great to meet Ayumi-sensei today! She was so thorough in getting to know what I wanted from the lesson and making sure that lessons from now on will be conducted in a way that will suit my individual needs. She was easy to speak to, even though I become nervous when speaking in Japanese. I'm definitely looking forward to having lessons with Ayumi-sensei in the near future ^^
