Taking lesson with Luna-sensei has always been a pleasure. She is nice and friendly. I feel comfortable to exchange ideas and perspectives with her. It is nice to learn professional coaching and consulting practice with someone who has real business experiences.

I appreciate the opportunity taking lessons with Luna-sensei. Since her unique background in counseling and coaching, I was able to choose a book on this particuar subject to read with her assistance. I have learned the differences in thinking and approach between Japanese and American style of executive coaching. Of course, I have learned a lot of new and interesting vocabularies. It is wonderful to be able leverage teacher's expertise and learn about her professional experiences and Japanese simultaneously.

I have taken lessons with Luna-senei for a couple of months. It has always been an enjoyable experience. Her prounciation was clear and beautiful. Her experience and knowledge in the discussed subject was helpful. Our discussion on issues of mutual interest has been interesting and entertaining. I will continue to explore the differentiation of Japanese and American culture and enjoy my pleasant learning experience.

Luna-sensei, our reading covers the conflict between first and second generation owners of business. Unfortunately, most of the conflicts are not collaboratively resolved. It often ends up in competing win-loss result. Fathers win, sons leave the business. Sons win, fathesr retires without passing the wisdon of management to the sons. Sons are often with high IQ but comparatively lower EQ with strong will to push through his transformation without consulting and collaboration with senior management team. I often wonder how a CEO coach can properly and effectively engage both parties to create a win-win strategy. I hope the later part of the book might provide some insights or suggestions. Thank you for coaching me to read through this portion. I look forward to having more stimulations and illuminations to continue reading this book with you.

I particulary appreciate her very useful feedback containing objective assessment of my class interactions and engagement. It has been challenging and stimulating since I took my first lesson. It has always been fun taking lessons with Luna-sensei. She shared her professional perspectives on counseling and coaching in Japan with me. In addition to learning the Japanese language, I was able to learn about the business and social aspects of business conseling and how it might be different from my experiences in the United States. I truly enjoyed the interactions and learning experiences and certainly will continue my lessons with her.

This was my third lesson with Luna-Sensei. It was an excellent opportunity to develop my listening skill since she spoke at relatively fast speed and used vocabularies rich in meaning and nuance. We were able to exchange different perspectives on current social issues. We read through a few page of a book and were able to discuss differences of cultural implications. She provided very pertinent and encouraging feedback of our interactions. She also sent me a spread sheet explaining very useful vocabularies used in my lesson. I felt very relaxed, comfortable and yet very fruitful about my experience. I look forward to seeing her again next week to continue my Japanese language learning journey. I am confident that it will be an interesting and challenging experience again.

Luna-sensei was passionate about teaching. She articulated about the main points of the subjects very well. I enjoyed listening to her perspectives about certain arguements. Since she spoke at relatively fast pace, I had to listen attentively. I think it was a good way to practice my Japanese listening comprehension.
