I had a great class with Ayumi-sensei. We spoke about a specific theme and, in the last five minutes of class, Ayumi-sensei reviewed the new phrases or grammar point correctiosn from our discussion. She also sends very helpful feedback after the class. The time flies by--her classes are fun and help you improve. I look forward to more classes with Ayumi-sensei. いつもありがとうございます！

Today was a really fun lesson for me. There was a topic I was very interested in talking about in Japanese, and Ayumi sensei listened to my thoughts so kindly and asked me lots of questions. When I wasn't able to explain something well enough, she helped me out with the right vocabulary and phrasing, I take my lessons late at night, and it always feels like a great ending to my day. Thank you as always ^^
今日のレッスンもとっても楽しかったです！説明できる力を計るために先生が何もご存じないイベントを選んで説明しました。先生が何もご存じなかったテーマでしたが、興味がありそうに色々な質問をして、本当に嬉しかったです。ちゃんと説明できなかった時に丁寧に正しい語彙や表現を紹介しました。私はいつも夜遅くレッスンをしていますが、一日の楽しい終わりになります。あゆみ先生のおかげです！いつもありがとうございます～ -

このレッスンも楽しかったです！Ayumi-sensei is very caring and wants you to succeed! I very much appreciate the corrections in speech or suggestions on how to say something more naturally in Japanese. I'm becoming more and more comfortable speaking because of her. Her English is really amazing (you can tell she works super hard) so explanations in English are great as well! The feedback after the lesson always includes notes and very detailed advice/information! Highly recommend.

I am improving more because of Ayumi-sensei guidance as tutor, get so much fun learning Japanese with her, it give me more stimulation to learn more words and sentences in Japanese, looking forward for another meeting lesson in the future for more improvement

First lesson since trial and had the BEST time. I messaged Ayumi-sensei beforehand about the topic(s) I wanted to try speaking about in Japanese and she was very accommodating! I spoke so much Japanese I surprised myself! When I had to switch to English to explain what I couldn't say yet, Ayumi-sensei kindly wrote (in JP) what I wanted to convey in simple japanese both in the chat and while speaking! GREAT. Can't wait for our next lesson!

I had a few questions about some vocabulary that my dictionary and google couldn't explain properly, and Ayumi Sensei was kind enough to give me a thorough and thoughtful answer to each of my questions. The things that she told me about will be really helpful for my studies, so I'm grateful as always. She makes me feel like I can ask anything about Japanese, and she will always help me out. Thank you!

I'm so glad I found Ayumi-sensei. She's funny, kind, and easy to talk to! I was allowed to have my camera off (since she offers that, which is something I've never seen with other tutors!) and I was able to enjoy my lesson thoroughly without being super duper nervous (I was still nervous haha). She gave me a lot of advice and what would be best for my level.
I can't wait to book another lesson :) -

After not using my Japanese in a long time I have become rusty, which made me feel much less confident in my speaking skill. However, when I am chatting with Ayumi Sensei I feel like am earning back my confidence little by little. The feedback that she gave me today was particularly useful, and it is great material that will help me maintain and improve my Japanese. Thank you as always! -

アメリカに住む小学5年生の娘に、日本語での会話の練習をしていただきました。とても元気で明るい先生で、娘もレッスンが終わってすぐに楽しかったと喜んでいました。会話の中での、間違えやすい言葉を優しく修正してくれて、日本語の文法もきちんとカバーしてくださいました。その都度褒めてくださるので、日本語に自信がない娘もレッスンが進むにつれて、どんどん自信をもって話すようになっていました。分からない言葉は、英語で伝えることもできたので助かりました。今後もぜひお願いしたいと思います。

Ayumi is a friendly and awesome Japanese teacher. When I first took her Japanese lessons, I was impressed in her teaching style. I really enjoyed taking with her and she always smile to me during the lessons. it makes me feel relaxed and happy. I have been studying Japanese on and off for a long time. honestly, I forgot a lot of the Japanese expressions. even if I can't come up with a idea or Japanese words, she help me and give me a great advice how can I explain Japanese more easily. Anyway, What I really want to say is that she has a passionate personality. if you really want to be a native Japanese speaker, you should book her Japanese lessons as soon as possible.
あゆみ先生はとても優しくて、笑顔が素敵な先生です。適切な日本語の表現が浮かび上がらない時、いつも積極的に向き合ってくれて、より正しい日本語を使えるように手伝ってくれます。長年の間、日本語を学んできた私は今まで沢山の日本人と出会えて来ました。その中であゆみ先生の日本語の授業が一番面白くて一番ためになる授業だと思いました。学びにはきりがなく、学んでも学んでも新しい表現がまた出てくるのでしょう、、頭が疲れてしまうと日本語を学びたいという勢いもなくなってしまうのではないでしょいか？最近、勉強に疲れてしまい、全てを諦めて遊びたいと思っている所でした。しかし、あゆみ先生の素敵な笑顔や彼女から応援のアドバイスをいただき再び”あ～このままではだめだ！もっと頑張りたい”と思うようになりました。皆さんもあゆみ先生の授業に参加して、勉強したいという心構えを失わないようにしてみるのはいかがでしょうか！いい機会はいつも目の前にあるらしいです。ただ、私たちが見つけようと努力しないだけで、見つけると意外にとるのは簡単らしいです！今の機会を逃さず、自分のものにしてみてください！言葉の学びは機会だと思います！
아유미 선생님은 항상 밝게 웃어주시는 선생님입니다. 제가 공부에 너무 지치고 힘들 때 선생님이 웃으면서 말을 걸어 주면 없던 활력이 솟아 오르는 것 같은 느낌이 듭니다. 언어는 혼자하는게 아니라는 가르침이 일본어 수업과 동시에 일어나는 신기한 수업이라고 할까요? 정말 멋진 선생님은 배우려 하는 학생들에게 웃음을 주는 선생님이 아닐까라는 생각을 합니다. 들어보시면 정말 후회하지 않으실거라 자신합니다. 선생님과 함께 진짜로 커뮤니케이션에 사용되는 일본어를 배워보시는 거 어떨까요? 너무너무너무너무 좋은 선생님입니다!! 추천 100 입니다!!
