Today, we talked about an article that WHO warned a cough syrup can be linked to Gambian children's death. What I said was too jumbled and lost logical meaning. This may be because of my less practice time in English...

We talked about an article that described the recent findings of the first surgery performed about 30000 years ago. I'm not good at using past perfect tenses, so today's lesson was a good practice for me :)

we talked about the major event that happened this week in the UK; the death of Elizabeth II and the selection of a new prime minister. She has a deep and vast knowledge of the world and history! I always find myself in ignorance. Talking to her gives me a lot of information about what has happened in this world :)

Today, we talked about the death of Gorbachev, the former leader of the Soviet Union. To my shame, I didn't know I shouldn't pronounce 'w' when I say "wrongly." She pointed out my this year-long mistake :)

We talked about the Artemis program, the first stage of which will be launched in a few days! I would like to catch up with the information :) She pointed out a lot of mistakes in my sentences. Thank you so much!

Today, we talked about a robot for ocean research and recent competition event conducted by NASA. I tend to misuse pleural and singular expressions and mix them up. This might be because I focused too much on the content and can't pay much attention to the structure of them (Of course I know the fact that the structure is the essential part if I want to convey my messages...)
She always listens to what I have said very carefully and suggests better expressions. Thank you so much :) -

Today, she shared about her country's economic crisis and recent events. I was worried about her and her family's safety, so I'm relieved to know they are safe :)

I was finally able to take her lesson! I let her know about the result of my test and talked about the recent assassination of the former prime minister. I told her my thought that the gun violence was somewhat related to the recent argument in the US, although most Japanese citizens don't know about it. Since I didn't practice speaking and thinking in English, I couldn't come up with appropriate words and sentences.
She promptly corrected my pronunciation and show me better expressions. Thank you so much :) -

Today, we talked about gun violence, which has been discussed throughout the US these days. before this lesson, I simply thought we should prohibit gun use and wondered why the US government (and citizens) can't do it. However, her opinions and discussions deepened my thought and gave me awareness. Thank you so much!

英語での言葉遊びゲームのレッスンを初めて受講しました。Ashhari講師はとてもチャーミングな方で、熱心に教えてくださり、短い時間でしたが充実した楽しい時間になりました。このゲームはYes, Noなど4つのNGワードを言わないように頭を使い、すばやく答える練習になります。何度かやって慣れてきたら、同じ答え方はNGといったルールを設けていけばよいそうです。英会話を勉強しているけれど、フリーカンバセーションだと話題がない、いつも自己紹介で終わってしまう、などの悩みをお持ちの学習者さんにぴったりのレッスンだと思いました。

Today, we talked about the new type of renewable energy "gravitricity," which uses the Earth's gravity to produce electricity. This energy production seems innovative and I hope it will become efficient enough to cover a wide range of energy demands.

There is an important English examination tomorrow, so she gave me several questions that are similar to a real test. She also took extra time to give me pieces of advice which surely contribute to the improvement in my English fluency.

As I wasn’t able to speak in today’s lesson, we converted today’s speaking lesson to a texting . She corrected my sentences and advised me how to make them better. I really appreciate her motivation towards teaching us.

We practiced TOEIC questions today. We have not practiced this kind of test, but she pointed out my tendency and weak points correctly. It was really informative for me. There are about two weeks until the test, so I'll practice harder.

Today, we talked about the recent development in space exploration, particularly the rocket launching system. she taught me a lot of expressions and showed me the better composition of my speaking sentences. thank you so much and have a nice weekend!

We discussed an incident that one of China's UK diplomats was involved in violence against Hongkong protesters. I couldn't express my opinion effectively today, maybe because I didn't have enough time to practice English these days. As everyone knows, daily practice makes us perfect.
