During this hour of lesson, Kanako-San teached me a part of bases in Japanese and wrote at the same time with hiragana on Skype thus it is really very well to begin. She always checked if I understood well what the text is talking about. Right after that, I set 1 hour of lesson for the next day! :)

She walks you through a lot of grammar, vocabulary, and example sentences. -

Kanako's lesson was very good. She gave me material and pushed me to speak more. She always checked to be sure I understood what the conversation was about. She also took some time to work on my pronunciation.

This was another great lesson. We went through more of the げんき textbook and I went over speaking about numbers, counting, asking about age, nationality, majors (in school), and other basic introductory phrases. There were some minor connection issues but we worked through them and it did not effect the quality of the lesson as a whole. I'll be reviewing some vocabulary in preparation for my next lesson which I look forward to! ^ ^

This was my first lesson on Cafetalk. I have studied Japanese a little on my own and had more-or-less memorized hiragana,, but if you don't know hiragana/katakana the romaji is written as well, so don't worry. The lesson was very relaxed and Kanako is very fun and easy to talk to. She was thorough and I was able to understand what I was learning with her. If I was unsure of something, she explained it well. The lessons are at a gentle pace as well, which fits my learning style. There's no pressure; if you don't understand something or don't know what to say, Kanako will guide you and help you understand. After our lesson, Kanako sent a message with some of the things we learned. This was a great lesson and I look forward to taking another lesson with her soon!

Indeed, I learned a lot in this lesson. I was introduced to new vocabulary, practiced basic expressions and phrases. After a brief question-answer period, we had a conversation wherein I applied the knowledge just acquired. In addition, Kanako 先生 paid close attention to my pronunciation, correcting it where needed. As an absolute beginner the abovementioned methodological approach perfectly suits my way of learning. I am entirely impressed with Kanako 先生’s style of pedagogy. She also has a warm and welcoming spirit. And her smile makes you smile! Such friendly comportment creates the ideal atmosphere for language acquisition. Superb! Highly recommended! 〜どうもありがとうございました。
