I have been booking Shin's lessons for the past few months. His lessons have me immersed in the Japanese language from start to finish. He does not speak much English, but this is one of the advantages to taking his lesson, you are forced to listen to Japanese. If you are looking for a challenging but wonderful teacher, then give his lesson a try.
He also provides his own material to supplement learning from the Minna No Nihongo textbook. -

In my most recent lesson with Shin, I learnt a great deal about Japanese culture and a lot of very useful information. Shin is very knowledgeable about Japan's culture and history and I really enjoyed the lesson!! Thanks!

I had a really fun first lesson with Shin! His enthusiasm for manga and anime really came across and we had a really fun chat about anime and manga. I picked some some really useful words as well. Thanks for the lesson!!

Shin-sensei is AMAZING. I had to mail out an application in Japanese fast, and even though my tight schedule was unfair, Shin-sensei went above and beyond to help me out. He's extremely dedicated to his students, and I am so grateful! Thank you again Shin-sensei!

Even though I only took a trial class with Shin-sensei, I am very pleased! I told him all about my goals, and we decided on a study plan together that will best help me get where I need to be. I am excited to start our weekly lessons! ^_^
