I had my first lesson with Izumi_san and it was really nice!
It was a great, familiar atmosphere and I enjoyed it from the very beginning. He is a very friendly guy and his English is very well, so you shouldn't have any difficulties of understanding if you speak English yourself.
If you have any material you want to study, you can let him know. Otherwise he will prepare something. I didn't have any material, that's why the first lesson was primarily to introduce ourselves and to check my Japanese level, so that he knows where to begin.
But we also started practicing the correct pronunciation of Hiragana and some Japanese sentences, which was very useful for me because I started studying Japanese all by myself and never had any feedback! I really liked this lesson, that's why I will carry on and take it regularly.
