We woke up to find the beach covered in seaweed, courtesy of a small storm through night in Kamakura, Kanagawa prefecture.

I am currently travelling and working in Japan with my Girlfriend on a 'Working Holiday Visa'. At the time of writing, we are based in Kamakura, but will be going on to Hakone and then moving on to Fukuoka in the next couple of weeks. 

We absolutely love it in Japan and find the people incredibly warm and welcoming, and the culture and natural surroundings unrecognizably peaceful and tranquil. 

We are extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity to travel around this wonderful country.

Being able to travel and teach English online has been a blessing, and has been the sole reason that this adventure has been made possible. I look forward to speaking with you and hearing about your travels and learning about your culture soon!
