It’s that time of year when the day is about to approach where many families from all around the world will gather together to celebrate a wonderful day called Christmas.
Well, does anyone really know what this day is really about?
Some will say it’s about Santa Clause.
Some will say it’s about giving presents to each other.
Some will say it’s about spending time with each other.
Some will say it’s about the birth of Jesus Christ.
And… Some will probably say a lot of other different things.
But as for me, Christmas is about blessing others without expecting anything in return. It’s about being kind to everyone that we meet and talk with, no matter who they are or where they have come from. And it’s about wishing everyone a good year to come without any expectations of receiving anything from anyone for the good things that we do for others.
As of the history of Christmas, heres’s a short description of it…
Christmas is a Christian Festival that is celebrated to welcome in the birth of Jesus Christ.
The English term for Christmas, (Mass on Christ’s Day), is fairly recent in origin.
Since the early 20th century, Christmas has been a secular family holiday, which is observed by both Christians and many Non-Christians alike, which consists of family celebrations, group gatherings, and different types of parties, along with the exchanging of gifts and or presents.
In this secular Christmas celebrations, a person named (Santa Claus), plays the role of someone who comes around to give gifts to everyone at the end of each year and to wish them a wonderful time and a good year to come.
For those who’s interested in talking about this in a conversational way, feel free to send me a lesson request at any time.
Thank you.
