Weekly Topic: Recommended autumn recipes: from pumpkin spice to apple pie

You'll be surprised with the result! But wait, what is Nutmeg?

Imagine a little island in Indonesia, where the air is filled with the scent of adventure and spice—welcome to the world of nutmeg! This magical little seed comes from the nutmeg tree, which is like the rock star of the spice world. It’s known for its warm, cozy flavor and an abundance of healthy properties.

Now, adding Nutmeg to coffee is tricky. The easy way to prepare it is using a store-bought instant coffee, like the one in the thumbnail above. But if you're a coffee lover--Check out my last tutor columns-- the best way to add nutmeg is while brewing.

Just add a dash of freshly grated Nutmeg to your ground coffee, before the boiling water pour.

*Remember: Some cultures have used nutmeg for its psychoactive effects, but it's not commonly or safely recommended for this purpose. Consuming nutmeg in excessive quantities can be toxic and potentially dangerous.

The same procedure can applied for Hot Chocolate.

So next time you sprinkle some nutmeg--the little island magic in your morning beverage.
