※1 博士研究員が講師として活動する場合、postdoctoral teaching fellow という表現を使います。

※2 学長や理事長の訳は、とても難しいです。例えばブリティッシュコロンビア大学には、Chair of the Board of Governors と Chancellor と President（兼Vice-Chancellor）と Provost がそれぞれいらっしゃるのですが、ところによってはChairとChancellorが両方「理事長」と訳されていたり、PresidentとProvostが両方「学長」「総長」と訳されていたりで…（＾＾；）この場合は、Chair of the Board of Governors が理事会議長、Chancellorが理事長、President and Vice-Chancellorが学長兼副理事長、Provostが副学長（もしくはもうプロボストのままにするか）…が一番しっくりくるかもしれません。
