What are your plans for the upcoming Winter holiday?
The winter air smells like a holiday, and frosty weekends are made for relaxation. However, recreation is also a science, sometimes even more difficult than teaching! To learn it, you need to make some effort (don't worry, lazy and pleasant effort!). We offer you a list of mandatory plans for the winter holidays, which will not only teach you how to rest, but also help you relax to the fullest!
 
1. Throw away the junk and celebrate
Nothing puts you in the mood like holiday decorations! And when a dirty sock is lying in the corner (not even in Christmas colors!) the festive mood quietly goes beyond the threshold... So the number one rule for the winter holidays: it should be clean not only before the New Year, but also throughout the holidays! KonMari's cleaning technique will help with this, the main goal of which is to leave only those things that bring joy at home. And remember: there is no such thing as "too much" for winter decorations.
 
 
 
2. Smart "salad coma"
New Year's holidays, better known as "salad coma", year after year surprise with gastronomic variety and make stomachs happy. And what happens to our brain at this time? Of course, the hormones of happiness are raging, but does traditional Olivier improve our cognitive functions? Hardly. When preparing traditional dishes, do not forget about food that is good for the brain. For example, fatty types of fish, buckwheat, lentils and green vegetables. Delicious natural chocolate, various types of nuts, green apples and pomegranate are suitable for dessert.
 
 
 
3. Diary with a New Year's unicorn
Most people live on autopilot, and teachers are no exception. Therefore, it is extremely important to be able to get rid of annoying thoughts about past defeats and future situations. A written analysis of the past year and setting goals for the future will come in handy. Keep a professional development journal: this mindfulness practice can significantly reduce stress levels! And when to allocate time for this to the teacher? The best option: during the winter holidays, because it is scientifically proven that it is better to set new goals at "turning" moments. And such a moment is the New Year! Sometimes warm socks, a cup of tea and 15 minutes for self-development are enough to reach professional heights!
 
 
 
4. Book holiday
Outside the window, snowflakes glisten playfully and the snow is spinning, and the sun's rays break through the snowy horizon... Of course, this is more the beginning of the book than the reality of this year's winter. So add a little magic to everyday life - immerse yourself in a fairy-tale world where winter is always snowy and people smile more often. Traditional winter and magical holidays await you in the following books:

5. Happy day
How often do we dream of truly resting? And why do we often not feel a rush of strength after the winter holidays? Because you also need to know how to rest! What is needed for this? Take care of yourself. To do this, make a list of things that cause you childish delight, think about what you dream about. And start implementing everything written on the list from the very morning (and even until the evening!): late awakening, breakfast in bed, hot bath, walk in the park, New Year's movie... Today everything is for you!
 
 
 
6. Move!
Did you know that our brain simply adores sports? Physiologically, exercise makes us happier, and a few hours after playing sports are the most productive. You can lie in bed at any time, but in winter you have to try something new! Ice skates, snowboards, snowballs and sleds are winter attractions that will interest every teacher. However, there are festive alternatives: singing songs, festive dances and running to the refrigerator for Olivier.
 
 
 
7. Master new things
Remind yourself that you are not only a teacher! Think about it: what did you want to become as a child? And do you have any hobbies? Or something that has always appealed, but was out of date? All this can be implemented right now with the help of many online courses, where everyone will find something interesting for themselves. The teaching profession does not always provide a resource, but a hobby can!
 
 
 
8. Sleepy sobriety
How often do you manage to sleep 7-8 hours?
 
Scientific fact No. 1: teachers lack sleep on weekdays, and significantly oversleep on weekends.
Scientific fact #2: sleep less than 6 and more than 8 hours is perceived by our brain as light alcohol intoxication.
Therefore, the winter holidays are a great opportunity to adjust your sleep schedule and arrange two weeks of sleepy sobriety!
 
 
 
9. Boost your mood
Hey, the holidays are not the time to be sad! Who, besides yourself, takes care of your great mood? An elf on your phone screen, a bag of mandarin oranges, a Christmas carol performed by funny animals... Another scientific fact: all of these are uplifting, so make sure you have plenty of fun stuff and stock up on smiles.
 
 
10. Photo weekend
Get ready for the most effective way to continue the holiday after the weekend: take a photo. In a wig, with a Christmas tree shower, Grinch make-up or a dog with deer antlers... Be patient, because even a dog has its own photogenic side, so the process can take a while. But what a result!
