What Animal Would You Like to Have as a Pet? "All Undesired"

Weekly Topic: What animal would you like to have as a pet?

2022-12-04

Why do we find animals so endearing? Beautiful, majestic, awesome, funny, cute, simply adorable.  People can stay hooked for hours just watching videos of them, pets of all kinds of breed, showing off intentionally or oblivious of their being, skills and antics.

Paleoanthropology is the study of the evolution of men, from the study of fossils and archeological discoveries from the past suggesting evidences that human beings originated from another animal, the apes.  In the first book of the Bible, the Genesis narrates the story of our origin, we were created by God on the sixth day after the creation of all animals.  Science and Religion explain where people come from and both give the fact that men and animals are related!  Could this explain our affinity with them?  I guess so.

Luna was just about to be run over by cars until it found us passing by, my niece is her mom now.

What animal would I like to have as a pet?  I just love all animals that I cannot choose a specific one, but if there is an animal in need where I could have the chance to have it or vice versa, because it is undesired, I would gladly keep it, if I could.  There are so many adorable animals, they don't need to be cute.  They can can give the best kind of love.  These days, many people treat animals like they are disposable.  Breeding has become a norm and so are pet shops, and then the worst, gas chambers and abuses.  Men are supposed to have dominions over animals, but to treat them cruelly is not.

As I get to learn more about animals, I get to realize that they have a lot of similariies with us; in behavior, in thinking, in so many other things.  I stand up for Animal Rights.  There are 5 of them according to 'The Animal Humane Society":
1. Freedom from hunger and thirst.
2. Freedom from discomfort.
3. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease.
4. Freedom to express normal behavior.
5. Freedom from fear and distress.

Let's spread our love for our pets, for all animals.
