Canada's largest banks are the latest industry to announce mandatory vaccine policies this week, after hospitals, public transport companies and zoos announced if employees don't get vaccinated, they will be fired.
These vaccine policies have been met with mixed reviews by the public. Some feel that the
workplace will be safer but some feel it is a violation of personal rights. However, many small and medium businesses support vaccine mandates.
As of August 20, 73.5 % of Canada's eligible population has been fully vaccinated. Only a minority of people hasn't got the jab yet. According to a recent poll, the majority of unvaccinated people are concerned about the safety of the COVID 19 vaccines, and some people just don't believe in vaccines in general.
This topic is highly debatable. Does the government and employers have the right to force people to get vaccinated?
