三白におそれひれふす歳はじめ天の厄ばらひ此方（こち）に来しかも

※この厄ばらいは、神仏が厄を背負って落としていったという意味で使っています。
世界は日本は新型コロナウイルス等で大きく苦しんでいる状況です。
神様がこうした大きな厄を当地に落としていって、
分担させ軽くしているのかもしれません。前向きに考え短歌に願いを籠めました。

This exorcism is used in the sense that the gods and Buddha carried the evil on their backs and removed it with smaller evil. In the world, Japan, we are suffering much from the new coronavirus and others. It may be that the Gods and Buddha drop these major troubles on our land to share and lighten the world. I thought positively about the heavy snowfall's calamity in our areas and put my wishes into this tanka.

新年明けまして、おめでとうございます。

今年も宜しくお願い申し上げます。

私の2020年は大雪で終わり、2021年は大雪で始まりました。

連日、除雪に勤しみ夜も8時前には疲労で、目が開けられなくなっています。

近隣の横手市では既に179cmになっているということ。

家の前の小路には、流雪溝が流れていないので、毎朝、自治体から大型除雪車がきて雪捨て場を作ってくれるのですが、その高さは早今までにないほど高くなっています。

昨日の午後は、都合が良ければ一日２回来てくれている除雪車が早朝の１回しか来てくれませんでした。おそらく、あまりの降り具合で、午後からは他の道路の除雪におおわらわで来てくれなかったのでしょう。あああああああ！

ということで、午後４時ごろ家の玄関を開けたら、家前の道路にはふんわりと雪が降り積もっていました。これを除雪したら、もうくたくた......

裏口の方は一人が通れるぐらいの除雪しかやっていませんが、表玄関は、愛車もそこから出ていくのでそれなりにやらなければなりません。

結構、私としては広く除雪していると思っています。

なにはともあれ、一日も早くこの状況から脱することができたらと願っています。

My year 2020 ended with heavy snowfall, and 2021 began with heavy snowfall.

I've been working day after day to remove snow, and by 8 p.m., I'm so tired that I can hardly open my eyes.

In neighbouring Yokote City, the snow has already reached 179cm.

The alley in front of our house does not have the snow drainageway, so every morning, a large snowplough of the local government makes a snow dump. The height of the dump has already reached higher than ever before.

Yesterday afternoon, the snowplough that comes twice a day if it is convenient came only once in the early morning. Probably because of the heavy downpour, they were too busy ploughing other roads in the afternoon to come. Aaahhhh!

So, when I opened the front door of my house around 4:00 p.m., the road in front of my house was softly covered with snow. After removing this, I was exhausted. ......

I only clear enough snow to allow one person to pass through the back door, but I have to do a fair amount of work on the front door since my car goes out there.

I think I'm doing a pretty good job of clearing the snow.

At any rate, I hope we can get out of this situation as soon as possible.
