erudite (adj.) - characterized by great knowledge; learned or scholarly

to milk (something) - to take advantage of; to make the most out of

gonna (colloquialism) - spoken English for "going to" - don't write that in a professional paper, essay, etc.!

you know what I'm sayin'? (colloquialism) - Right? / Do you agree with me? / You understand?

abruptly (adv.) - suddenly; unexpectedly; terminating or changing suddenly
