Wow, it's already been a week! Did you have a good vacation? For most of you, the vacation is almost over and you'll be going back to work on Monday. (Well, maybe not 'going' back to work, but starting work again!) Did you do anything fun? Have any tasty food? Or did you just relax at home?
I have a couple more videos for your entertainment and this will probably be the last set that I post for you, so I'm going to do three videos today!
So let's take a look at what we have.
The first video is by a cooking channel. She posts all kinds of videos about baking and chocolate and more that are very interesting. The video I chose for you guys is how to make chocolate bowls for dessert. These are very easy to do and you should be able to understand how to make the chococlate bowls even if you have trouble understanding her English. She's Australian, so get ready! This will challenge your ear but hopefully you'll get a tasty treat from it all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlTQJ8Iv7OE
The next video is even easier to make! No one around me has heard of this, but maybe you have heard of Dalgona Coffee? It's a strange combination of cultures and words, but the idea is thought to have come from South Korea (though, I guess that's not actually true. If you're curious, do a little more research to see where this coffee style came from!) I know that instant coffee is rather popular in Japan, so this is a creative way to make really interesting coffee. The video is somewhat easy to understand and the woman has a lovely, clear speaking style so hopefully you'll be able to understand most of what she says. Let me know what you think of this Dalgona coffee and the variations! I'm planning on trying to make the Matcha tea version maybe this weekend. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aaqc2jFcYO8
The last video I have for you is not for making anything, but about people who had interesting ideas. This informational video presents ideas that are in use in different countries around the world. It's somewhat advanced, so I recommend this video for upper level students. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g0W23tZHhc
I hope everyone has enjoyed these videos and your summer vacation!
Have a great day~
