Hi Cafetalk!
If you haven't seen it yet, please check out my featured interview with Cafetalk. Also, there is a little grammar point that I'd like to discuss.
In my last answer, I wrote, "I want to thank all the students who I've met on Cafetalk." At first, when I re-read it, I thought that the correct sentence should be, "I want to thank all the students whom I've met on Cafetalk."
Why? Because "who" is the subject of a sentence, whereas "whom" is the object. The students are the object; I met them (subject-verb-object).
However, upon deeper contemplation, I think that this point can be argued. Are there any tutors out there who would like to give me their thoughts on this?
Before I go, I'd also like to give a shout-out to tutor, Leeann D. She has fun lessons, and she's very friendly - check her out!
Glossary:
(A "shout-out" is a quick, public expression of thanks or admiration)
(Contemplation means thoughtful observation)
