“Small Bridge Now Offering Language Lessons on Skype for Smartphone Users” in NIKKEI BUSINESS DAILY (September 12th, 2013)
Excerpt
Cafetalk, a language learning platform that currently operates mainly on computers, is releasing a mobile version of their website. On Cafetalk, users can choose from unique lessons such as “Basic English for Beginners” or “Hangul through Korean Picture Books” from individual teachers, including those from foreign countries. In this system, lessons come into place once the users choose them.
Teachers are preparing short lessons that last about 15 minutes in preparation for smartphone users. These short lessons are also lower in price, so lessons with content along the lines of “Targeted English Advice” and “Practice Exams in English for Job Applicants” can be expected.
