Good Day Everyone!

 My name is Willem, and I am from South Africa. I have 10 years of experience teaching English to students of all ages and proficiency levels, having taught in Mainland China up until 2019. 
 
I studied at the Beijing Language and Cultural University, completed a 120-hour TESOL certification through the Uni-Prep Institute, and completed a 168-hour Level 5 TEFL certification through the TEFL Academy.
 
I have experience in teaching the following elements:

Grammar (tenses, active/passive voice, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, contractions, superlatives, verbs, nouns, clauses and syllables)

Phonetic Symbols (Short vowels, long vowels, diphthong vowels, fricatives, plosives, affricates, nasal, and approximants)

Reading Comprehension, where I use my teaching material and websites to teach the student.

Writing, where I use my teaching material and websites to teach the students.

Conversational English, where I use my teaching material and websites to teach the students. I always focus on giving the student as much time to talk as possible
 
 Other than English I can also Teach Afrikaans(Native) and Mandarin Chinese(A1 basic) level. I am also skilled in working with Autocad and Fusion 360 having completed a course at the Academic Institute of Excellence and am willing to teach you the fundamentals of working with both software in drawing up concept drawings and designs.
 
I am a perfectionist at heart and will monitor your progress as we go along the way.
