Hi there!

My name is Candice and I am a professional artist based in New York. I have achieved countless honors and awards for my skills in painting/drawing such as Long Islands Top Artist in 2016 and Top 30 M.F.A. Artists in the United States in 2016. I also enjoy studying the Japanese language and have studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan during my college years.

Currently, I am a New York State certified teacher and professor of art/education at Long Island University. I greatly enjoy teaching students all forms of art whether it be digital or traditional and language exchange. As an art teacher, I have experience teaching art to ENL - (English as a New Language) students from Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and China. 

I offer a variety of lessons ranging from learning the English language to fine art. My lessons are uniquely tailored to suit everyone's individual needs and preferences. Your experience will inspire and give you the confidence to keep moving forward with your linguistic and/or artistic goals. I understand the difficulties of learning something new and have taken that experience to make it easier and a more enriching experience. for my former and future students!
