Hello! My name is Bina. I am a CELTA qualified teacher from India. I taught Japanese and Korean students English Language communication skills a couple of years back. I enjoyed teaching them because they were very keen to learn new English language concepts and develop their existing English Language communication skills. I have learned that age is not a factor when it comes to learning. The key point is one should have the motivation to learn.

Apart from being a teacher, I also enjoy learning. I always reflect on my teaching and improve my teaching style in the best interest of the students. I feel that I have learned so many key ideas from the CELTA course and this course has certainly taught me to teach English Language skills more efficiently.  The concept I liked the most during my CELTA course training is the use of the communicative approach to English Language teaching. Learning English Grammar can be really difficult. However, learning English Grammar can be made very simple using various student-centered interactive activities. Now, after completion of my CELTA course, I am extremely keen to use this knowledge to teach the English language to speakers of other languages. I completely understand how difficult it must be to learn a different language. But, I firmly believe that if you are interested to do something and you want to achieve it, you will attain your goals. I am extremely passionate to teach English language skills to students.  I have also got a teaching certificate from the UK (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education). This qualification also enabled me to learn to apply good and effective teaching methodologies. My objective is to help you to learn and develop your English Language skills and to be able to communicate in English confidently.

I will always be there to help you become successful in the English Language learning journey. I will be with you at every step of your learning process. I would also like to help you to gain confidence during your English Language learning process. So, wherever you are in your English Language learning journey, I will be there to lend you my supporting hand to help you achieve your goals and ensure that you feel confident as regards your English Language communication skills.

My teaching style is very interactive and I continually encourage students to communicate without any hesitation. I always aim to use a communicative teaching approach in my English Language lessons. My lesson plan is very much student-centered and I take into account the different learning styles of the students. I make students feel comfortable during my lessons. I always persuade students to focus more on learning. So, don’t feel disheartened about your language inaccuracies. Whatever language inaccuracies you make, I will always be there for you and we can work together in amending your errors constructively. I always give constructive feedback to my learners. So, my lessons are very enjoyable. 

I recommend an introduction lesson first as this will help us to know one another in a better way. I will try and make your English Language learning experience as fun as possible. I am very approachable. I firmly believe that you will gain a lot from my communicative style of English teaching. At the end of each lesson, I believe that you will certainly feel more positive to communicate more effectively. My lessons will help you develop your 4 essential English Language skills, such as Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills. I am more than happy to teach Adults and Children at all levels. My lesson flow will be based on your learning goals.
