Hello! I am Dave. I am from the United States. My home state is New Jersey state. I used to live close to New York City. I am a huge fan of music, I even play guitar. Having gone to school in Nashville, Tennessee I was able to appreciate live music even more so. I am currently in Japan teaching English to Junior High and High School students. Students of all ages and levels are welcome to request me as a teacher! I am interested in finding more students to teach and for cultural exchange.

We can conduct classes through casual conversation, or we may use formal materials and work through a series of exercises oriented toward your goals of improving particular skills within English. My plan is to work through brief presentations/lectures that require student participation for exercises and review. As far as Business English, I hope to introduce relevant topics (current events), as well as, new vocabulary and expressions necessary for the Business environement. I will work with students through written exercises and a variety of oral drills.

The English class I am offering is meant for conversation practice and introduction of new idioms, vocabulary, and expressions that would be useful for a student of English. The format is much more relaxed than the Business English course. This course is geared toward individual student goals. The majority of the class will be speaking and conversation practice.

For the classes that I offer, I am use the Business Result and English Result book series by Oxford publishers. Authors for Business Result textbook are: David Grant, John Huges, and Rebecca Turner. Authors for English Result textbook are: Mark Hancock and Annie McDonald.

I'm extremely patient and I do not give up on my students. We can make progress together!
