Hi there! こんにちは！My name is Megan and I am a dual citizen of the USA and UK! I have two Bachelor's Degrees, a B.A. in Environmental Science and a B.S. in International Relations. I am also a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified teacher! I was also an English Assitant at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies!

My teaching style tends to be quite immersive and focused on TRULY understanding the material, rather than memorization. I hope that the lessons allow students to make personal connections and apply them!

I am very thorough in my lessons and will spend extra time on a topic a student is having difficulties. If I notice that something intrigues a student, or has questions about culture, politics, religion, I love to answer those!
I believe learning should be fun, and while learning grammar and vocabulary is necessary, keeping students interested and reminding them of why they're learning keeps them motivated!
