Hello everyone, my name's Jonathan. I'm a 22-year-old Italian, I was born and raised in Tanzania. I have been teaching English since 2012 in Rome, Italy. At the moment, I live in Florence. When I was back in Tanzania I studied in an international school and graduated from it with an Advanced Level Cambridge University Certificate.

I enjoy playing football, watching movies, playing video games, going out with family and friends, reading and most of all, teaching!

In the winter of 2012, I had taught in the Italian Aeronautical Military for 2 months. I taught soldiers from beginners up to advanced level.

I have taught adults and children of all ages and levels in private schools in the centre of Rome. I also prepared students for various exams and tests, such as the Trinity examination and the First Certificate. I, myself, also invigilated a Trinity Grade 3 Examination while working for a private English school.

While in Rome, I followed up courses in Business and Medical English in construction companies and agencies, such as Salini construction company, where I taught engineers.

When I teach my students, or converse with them, I like seriousness and precision, but I also want them to enjoy the lesson and so I have them talk and learn English using topics that are real-to-life and that interest them.

I hate boring my students but I get really satisfied when they greet me at the end of the lesson with having learned useful and applicable material that they find a use for in their everyday life!

Conversation, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, listening, reading, speaking, pronunciation/phonetics and even homework, I am here to help! You name it, we'll do it! :)
