Hello! My name is Maria and I am from Montreal, Canada.

About Me
I have lived in Montreal my whole life. I am an English Literature professor in a college. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English language arts and literature, so I am qualified to teach all aspects of English including (but not limited to) pronounciation, grammar, conversation and literature. 
I am extremely passionate about languages. I speak English, French, Greek, Spanish and most recently, Italian. I love meeting people from different cultures.
I have been playing piano for over 20 years, and I have been a private music instructor for 10 years. Music is a big part of my life.

About My Lessons 
I have been teaching and tutoring in English for many years. I like to keep my lessons casual in a stress-free environment, where students can express themselves freely and not worry about grammar or pronounciation mistakes. I offer a wide-range of lessons to English students of all levels and ages. I am very passionate about teaching, and I am patient with my students. I type notes on Skype as the lesson progresses, and send feedback reports after the lesson. If requested by the student, I can also send additional notes after the lesson as well.

There is a free 15 minute Introcutory Lesson, where I can meet you and we can get to know each other better. Here, you can ask me any questions  and I can evaluate your strong and weak points, your goals, and we decide which lesson is best suited for your level and interests together.
