Hello! My name is Richi, I am brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, now living in Japan.

I am an architect, teacher and researcher, and I have worked in many countries around the world, making relationships with many people from different backgrounds and cultures. My profile picture was taken in Mongolia whith a cute local sheep!

I love teaching because it is a way to have nice conversation while exchanging cultures and ideas. As a teacher, I also learn a lot with my students, and grow as a person.

 

I've been teaching for 8 year now. I started at a community cram school in Rio, and also was teaching as a teacher assistant at Rio de Janeiro's university and Kyoto University.

In Japan I also teach private lessons and high school students. I can teach english (TOEFL SCORE 105) and portuguese, as well as spanish for beginners.

 

I like to teach and learn trough music, films, news and poetry, while having a nice conversation. Learning the language is learning the culture, so art can help us developing our language skills!

 

My hobbies are playing drums and practicing Aikido (japanese traditional martial arts).I enjoy easygoing comunication and learning while having fun and joy. I am pretty energetic and have curiosity about basically any topic, as long as it is interesting!
