Hello, everyone! My name is Oksana. I currently reside in the U.S. My mom instilled in me the passion for languages and foreign cultures. She has been and always will be a "language-junky" and she always made me study various foreign languages when I was a kid. It felt like an overt "torture" to me back in the day; however, only now I see how blessed I am to have a mom who pushes me to learn and explore new horizons.
I have got a few hobbies - history and photography. Therefore, if we happen to share similar interests, I will be thrilled to talk with you about those during our class:) My ultimate goal is landing a position of an auditor in an international company.
While accounting has been an interest of mine, teaching has been a passion of mine. Not only do you get to meet interesting people from various culture, you get to help them come together and connect.
I provide lessons that entail mastering the grammar of the English language, conversational English, widening your vocabulary, exploring the world of English idioms. After each lesson, I will provide you with a report about your performance that will include a summary of mistakes that you have made during the lesson. I will also provide you with the right answers and practice tests that will help you improve your written or spoken English. Even though I have zero accent English was not my first language. I acquired the knowledge of English when my family immigrated to the U.S. and brought me here as a teenager. I know exactly what it feels like struggling to learn a foreign language and I will do my best to make this processes as easy and effective for you as possible. If you wish to go over a specific topic during our lesson just, feel free to bring it to my attention and we will make that happen. For those interested in the Russian language conversational Russian and proofreading lessons are available as well.
