Hi, my name is Michael  and I am from Canada.  I have been teaching ESL since 1996.  I have taught all ages and levels, but mostly, for 13 years (2001-2014) I taught Conversational English at a university in South Korea.

I am married, since 2003 and I have a boy that is 7 years old.  My boy takes up most of my free time, but when I do get some free time I like to play boardgames and sports.  Being from Canada, my favourite sport is hockey.

I love teaching English as a second language.  I design and write all of my own lessons.  My philosophy on textbooks is that the best textbook is the one that the teacher writes.  Each teacher should know what is best for their class.

I also beleive that class should be fun and or interesting.  If either of these qualities exist then students will enjoy the class and want to return.
