I had a real 'ah-ha' moment with Riku Sensei today when he explained a difficult to understand piece of grammar to me. It's so nice to be able to hear the grammar in English even just now and again. Riku's Sensei's lessons are fun and vibrant and I will be looking forward to booking more lessons in the New Year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Riku Sensei. Thanks for all your lessons in 2024!!!

Fun lesson with Riku Sensei today, the lesson always goes so quickly and 30 minutes never seems enough. Looking forward to my lesson tomorrow to carry on the conversation.

Another wonderful lesson with Riku Sensei today, we went through a lot of vocabulary and talked about them in detail. Riku is fluent in English so it was nice to talk about the nuances of the vocabulary so I could get a deep understanding of its use in daily conversation. The 25 minutes flew by so quickly the lesson was finished just as I was warming up. I recommend Riku Sensei to anyone who wants to study and have fun and wonderful conversations at the same time.

Wonderful lesson with Riku Sensei, he is funny, engaging and I forgot I was speaking Japanese. He made me feel so comfortable and the lesson was enjoyable. I really enjoyed talking about so many topics and Riku Sensei was able to explain everything to me in Japanese, and if I needed any more help he could explain in his perfect English. We talked about so many topics it was fantastic. I would very much recommend Riku Sensei to anyone who is studying Japanese like me.

インターに通う娘にレッスンをお願いしました。先生は英語、日本語とも話されるため、状況に応じて使い分けて説明して下さいました。
子供に対し、いきなり勉強を教えるのではなく、「人はなぜ勉強するのか？」「勉強するメリットとは？」という本質的な話からアプローチし、本人に勉強する意味やメリットを自分で気がつかせるよう働きかけて下さいました。また効果的な勉強方法を伝授して下さい大変参考になりました。お若いですが、ベテランの教育者のように考えが深い先生です。 -

Very much enjoyed Riku Sensei's lesson today, he was very engaging and we talked about a lot of things including different ways to study and their effectiveness. Will be booking a lot more lessons with Riku Sensei in the future.
