The Moment I Glimpse at the Sky

2024年4月21日

In the scribblings of confetti, in a single screamthat flutters, moving disjointed chantsof tidal shapes,of hands – defining the beginning.

But don't be afraid that Imay not wait for the return of Ulysses, for the sunthat I entrap in his embrace that one can always rely uponin the crater of a poppy.

I dress the bed as the lunar splendour's bride, since I feel you as a breeze that grows and nevereases in its eagerness for life's hand-shaped voice.

In the morning ewer, the air feathered by sunshine. We are born from the stemthat paints silence.

Listen to the symphony of the wind, with its sublime notesscattered among October berries. In the transparent nightsof dreams and stars, the mouth sipsthe artificial Moonof desire and love. The expectations of each page, fulfilled.

Translated from the Italian by Tony Kitt
